It’s the village where my grandparents have always lived, from the land and for the land. Tradition and family come first, people work hard, and neighbours help one another.
Everything Terra Quente stands for, I learned there, from them.
Our olive groves grow in Terra Quente, a microclimate of harsh, cold winters and very hot summers. It’s demanding country, and the olive trees that thrive here have to be resilient.
My grandparents taught me that you work hard to earn the fruits of your work, quite literally. Some years the conditions aren’t right and the harvest is poor. You keep going anyway.
Giving up isn’t on the table. Olive oil is. Always.
One oil, made in limited batches. Pour it over warm bread, finish a dish with it, or share it at the table.
